Porcelain Veneers That Will Give You The Smile You Always Wanted

A beautiful smile is noticed by everyone. If you feel that need to hide your teeth or are afraid to laugh out loud because your teeth will be exposed, your quality of life can be greatly improved. Premier Dental Care offers the latest dental techniques for Porcelain Veneers that will give you the beautiful smile your confidence needs.

At Premier Dental Care, Dr. Birckhead & Dr. Powers have a modern dental facility with the most technologically advanced equipment and procedures available today. This is just the beginning. Their main concern is that patients feel relaxed and comfortable when they come in for an appointment.  Dr. Birckhead & Dr. Powers consider patient’s comfort their top priority.

They utilize the “WAND”, a state-of-the-art computerized anesthesia system, which replaces the injection syringe traditionally used to numb your teeth and gums. Injection pain is a thing of the past for patients at Premier Dental Care. They also have intra-oral cameras that go inside the mouth and let you see exactly what the doctor is seeing. You can watch your problem teeth become beautiful right before your eyes.

Porcelain Laminate Veneers will give the most natural and attractive results for a beautiful smile. Since they require only a small amount of tooth reduction, they are considered less invasive than a crown. Porcelain Veneers can completely change the way your teeth look. They allow for altering the position of each tooth if necessary as well as the size, shape and color. There are other options for improving the appearance of your teeth, but veneers are one of the simplest and give remarkable results.

Preparing the teeth for Porcelain Laminate Veneers occasionally does not need any local anesthetic, but some people may be sensitive or feel anxious, so the doctors advise a local anesthetic.  After your teeth have been prepared, the time until the veneers are fabricated is about two to three weeks.

Porcelain Laminate Veneers are very strong for normal eating but should not be used to bite into any hard objects. They are not reversible because the natural tooth needs to be slightly reduced in size, and in some cases the shape of the tooth will be changed. Once your Porcelain Veneers are cemented in place with a light- sensitive resin, you will be amazed at the difference in your appearance.

As a patient of Dr. Birckhead and Dr. Powers, I have experienced exceptional dental care. I have never been this pleased with every aspect of the dental patient treatment as I have since my first visit in this office. Everyone involved from the dentist to the staff has always demonstrated personal care and professionalism in a very relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend any of my family and friends to come here for all their dental needs. It has been a pleasurable experience.
